Hey everyone, what's the best GPS tracking system you've used to protect company vehicles from theft? Are there any brands that actually send reliable real-time alerts or offer remote disable features? Have systems like Verizon Connect, Samsara, or GPS Insight worked well for anyone here? What features do you think really make a difference when it comes to theft prevention? Also, is there anything you wish you knew before setting up a tracking system?

hi, i've had good luck with samsara-real-time alerts are quick, and the geofencing feature is a game-changer for catching shady moves early.

Have you noticed if certain systems work better in rural areas compared to busy city zones?

i've heard a lot of folks say geofencing and instant alerts are the real lifesavers-seems like those features matter more than just basic tracking.

I'm curious about this too-does anyone know if remote diasble actually works well in real-world theft cases, or is it more hype?

Tbh the feature that mattered most for us wasn't the fancy dashboards, it was fast push alerts + backup battery in the tracker. Thieves love cutting wires, so that saved us once. Wish someone told me about 'alert fatigue' tho you gotta fine-tune notifications or it gets spammy.
