Hey folks, I'm trying to figure out whether a rough terrain crane or an all-terrain crane is the better fit for mixed jobsite conditions. I’d love to hear your experiences especially on maneuverability, setup time, and cost efficiency. Which one do you prefer and why? thanks in advance

i'd go with all-terrain if you need both highway travel and off-road capability-rough terrain cranes can't be driven on public roads, which means extra transport costs.

I get your point, but I'd still lean toward a rough terrain crane for tougher job sites . . they're built for stability and handling uneven ground like a chmap.
Sure, all-terrain cranes are more versatile for travel, but when it comes to pure off-road performance, rough terrains just feel more reliable to me.
