Hey everyone, what are your go-to safety tips for flatbed haulers when dealing with heavy rain, strong winds, or icy roads? Do you have any weather-related habits that help keep the load secure and make those long hauls safer?

I slow down, check the load and straps, and avoid driving through severe weather when possible.

I’ve had similar experiences where I slow down in bad weather and check the straps again during the haul, especially after hitting rough or windy stretches.

usually slow down in bad weather, check the straps more often, and make sure the load is secure before continuing. If the roads get too bad, I'd rather stop and wait it out.
