What preventive maintenance mistakes do you see equipment owners making most often, especially ones that end up causing expensive downtime?

@Polo Ardobie, I think one of the biggest mistakes is putting off small issues, because a minor leak or worn part can turn into expensive downtime pretty quickly.

Exactly, ..small issues are easy to ignore when the machine is still running, but something as simple as a hydraulic hose starting to seep can get much worse.. catching and replacing it during a routine inspection is a lot better than dealing with a major leak and downtime on the job.
