hi, with more heavy equipment using GPS, telematics, and digital controls, which digital skills are becoming essential for operators?
Should operators focus more on reading telematics data, using machine control systems, or troubleshooting electronic diagnostics?
What apps, software, or training resources have actually helped you work more efficiently on the jobsite?

I’d break it down into three main skills: understanding telematics data to track machine performance, getting comfortable with GPS and machine-control systems for accuracy, and knowing basic electronic diagnostics for troubleshooting. Even learning how to use equipment apps and digital maintenance records can save a lot of time when you’re trying to keep a machine productive.

I agree with the basics, but I’d argue that troubleshooting electronic diagnostics deserves the most attention, being able to identify a problem before calling a mechanic can save serious downtime.

Yeah, being able to read the codes and figure out the basics yourself can save a lot of downtime waiting on a mechanic.
