Will parts from a 1998 Pipeliner fit a 1978 Pipeliner, especially the clutch drums, bull gears, and power-down components?

Trying to figure out parts interchangeability between a 1998 Pipeliner and a 1978 Pipeliner. I have a rough '98 machine with a worn center pin and missing vertical travel parts, but I've collected a lot of replacement components from it. I recently looked at a cleaner 1978 Pipeliner and started wondering if the clutch drums, bull gears, or power-down parts from the '98 machine would swap over. Mainly hoping to add a power-down setup to one drum if the later-model parts are compatible. Looking for advice from anyone familiar with Pipeliner winch parts, clutch drum compatibility, bull gear differences, or older Pipeliner rebuild projects.

I haven't worked on a Pipeliner myself, but I'd start by comparing part numbers if you can find manuals for both years. Sometimes later machines share major components, but there can be differences in gear ratios, shafts, or mounting points that affect interchangeability.
