Do Experienced Buyers Set Maximum Bids on GovPlanet?

hey folks, I’ve been looking at auctions on GovPlanet and wondering how experienced buyers handle their bidding strategy. Do most people set a maximum bid ahead of time and let the system handle it? Or do seasoned bidders prefer to watch the auction and adjust their bids manually?

The system will auto-bid for you up to that limit, which is handy if you're juggling multiple machines or can't watch the whole auction.

I usually set a max bid so I don't get carried away, but I still like to watch near the end just in case things heat up. Feels like a mix of both works best depending on how competitive the item is. Curious how others decide when to step in manually versus just letting it ride?

Auto-bid is great. You won't run the risk of a poor connection leading to you not getting that last bid in.
