How Wide Are Forklifts?

Hey!
I'm trying to figure out the typical width of forklifts for different applications. How wide are standard warehouse forklifts compared to rough terrain or narrow aisle models?

If anyone has experience with different forklift sizes, I’d love to know the average width ranges and what to consider when working in tight spaces!

Hey @Clark Boyle! Standard warehouse forklifts are usually around 3 to 4 feet wide, while narrow aisle models can be as slim as 3 feet or less. Rough terrain forklifts, on the other hand, tend to be much wider—often 5 feet or more—for stability on uneven ground. If you're working in tight spaces, definitely check the turning radius too!
