Price hikes

Same here, especially when a well-maintained used machine can get the job done without taking such a big hit on the budget.. what equipment are you seeing the biggest price jump on?

I was pretty hesitant to buy used at first because I was worried about hidden issues and unexpected repair costs. But with how much new equipment prices have gone up, I started looking more seriously at well-maintained used machines. As long as I can get service records and do a good inspection, the savings are hard to ignore.

I've been doing the same lately. One tip that's saved me a few headaches is to inspect the machine cold and then again after it's been running for a while, since leaks, smoke, and hydraulic issues often show up once everything heats up.
