My 2008 Case 850L Tier 3 dozer quit while working. Now it only clicks when I turn the key. It will crank when jumping the starter but won’t start. What should I check first?

I have a CAT 314E LCR with a 4-foot (1200 mm) CAT bucket that currently has 7 standard digging teeth. Instead of buying a grading or ditch bucket, I'm wondering if I can replace the existing teeth with wider, spade-style teeth that sit closer together for a smoother finish.
