is it worth going for a high-tech haul truck, or are the basics good enough?

trying to make a decision on the types of haul trucks, go modern or its okay with the traditional? new ones got gps and auto-diagnosis but costs a lot more. basic ones are tough, simple to repair, however rather rubbly. are you guys convinced that modern is better or do you prefer the old ways?

I think it depends on the kind of work you're doing. If you're looking for efficiency and less downtime, the high-tech trucks are worth it, but if you want something more rugged and easy to fix, the basics can still do the job just fine.

depends on your specific needs and budget. Modern trucks offer significant advantages in efficiency, safety, and technology. They're more fuel-efficient, require less maintenance, and come with advanced safety features and GPS tracking. These improvements can lead to substantial cost savings and improved performance over time.

Going old school has compelling benefits. They're often simpler to repair and maintain, which can be a major advantage for operations with experienced mechanics or those in remote areas. The initial costs are typically lower, making them more accessible for smaller operations. If your crew is older this might be a good call as well.

Both have their perks! High-tech trucks save time with diagnostics and tracking, but old-school ones are tough and easier to fix. What’s your biggest priority? is it efficiency or durability?
