    Digital keypads for access control?

I like them. Great for security and preventing theft. Also for keeping the untrained from hoping in there to "do something quick" after someone left a set of keys in.

    Grey market machine support?

I've seen some good deals on "grey market" machines (had to look up the term) but when researching it sounds like there might be issues getting support or repairs? Anyone have experience with this? Do different manufacturers have different approaches to them?

How to tell if a skid steer has auxiliary hydraulics?

Looking at some machines online and usually there's a field indicating if it has auxiliary hydraulics, but not always. How can I tell if a machine has Aux Hydraulics by looking at listings?

    Autonomous Bulldozers

Mind blowing stuff. Probably easier to automate those big machines in a wide open space than smaller units or stuff doing more jobs requiring more precision? When will we see automated mini-exs digging out a backyard pool?

    JLG 1932R won't drive

I feel like an idiot... After spending a bulk of the moment looking for an answer, an old head came over, lifted the platform 2 feet, and then it drove. It had to be LIFTED a bit to drive... which seems counterintuitive to me, wouldn't it be safer to require it to be all the way down?

    JLG 1932R won't drive

We've got one of these in the corner of our shop that no one has touched in a while. Everything turns on and powers up. The platform will go up and down. But I can't get it to drive... The control panel is covered in caked on paint so I can't really see what's what. But I feel like I've tried...

What are the pros and cons of using a wheeled skid loader vs a tracked model?

Totally dependent on what you're doing and conditions. Tracks - delicate ground, slipperier conditions (wet, snow, ice), or anywhere you want to have a lower impact Wheels - tighter conditions, hard/smooth surfaces

    Any cheap backhoes for sale?

Cheap usually means high hours and/or potential issues. If you're good with that, then looking at auctions - local or online - is probably your best bet for a CHEAP backhoe. If you need something that is ready to work and will be reliable I'd check with local dealers or a verified marketplace...

how much does it cost to rent a porta potty??

In my experience, companies that provide this provide other site services. They don't give pricing because they want a chance to upsell you on other items. Also they don't want competitors undercutting.

    specialty trucks

Specialty truck for what? Crane truck, bucket truck, water truck, service truck? Lot of trucks out there... going to need a little more detail on this one champ.

What features should you look for when buying or renting an off-highway truck for your construction project?

If you're renting, just that it has the specs to do the job - maintenance is someone else's problem. If you're buying get something reliable and from a good local dealer with solid support. These aren't usually the types of trucks people have buckups for given the price, so down time is a real...

    Service trucks are expensive rn?

What kind of attachments or specs? That seems high for a dodge unless it was decked out.

Industry terms and vocab for a newbie

I recently started a job as a sales rep for a reginal rental company. Any good resources I can use to get me up to speed on how my clients talk? I don't expect to be an expert, just don't want to sound like an idiot when I'm making calls or visiting a job site.
