What is the Fastest Path to Become a Construction Foreman?

Hey everyone,

I’ve been working in the field for a while and really want to move up to a foreman position. Whats the fastest (but still realistic) path to becoming a construction foreman these days? Are there certain skills, certifications, or types of projects that help you get there quicker? Would love to hear how some of you made the jump or what advice you’d give someone trying to move up fast. Thanks in advance for any tips
 
i have read that 70% of foreman started as regular crew and work their way up
If you want to move fast then learn to read blueprints, get your OSHA 30, and show you can lead. I hav seen guys step up in just a few years just by being the one who solves problems and keeps things moving. Attitude goes a long way
