I've been running saws for 20+ years, and the Husqvarna 372XP has always been a legend in my book. Even though it's been around for decades, I still see it in the hands of loggers and tree guys who swear by it. What makes this saw so beloved? Is it just nostalgia, or is it truly that good?

I’d love to hear from folks who still run them or have moved on to something "better." Is the 572XP a worthy successor, or does the 372XP still reign supreme?

Hi! The 372XP is a saw that just works. No crazy electronics, easy to repair, and it'll take a beating. I ran one for 15 years, and if Husky still made them the same, I'd buy another in a heartbeat. The 572XP is a solid saw, but I feel like it’s got too much tech stuffed into it. The 372XP is raw power, plain and simple.

Totally agree with you, @Jones_Albert. The 372XP’s simplicity is what makes it such a reliable workhorse — it’s just built to last, and it’ll keep going even when you push it hard. The 572XP is great, but for me, nothing beats the 372’s straightforward power and durability.

The 372XP is a beast! Reliable, easy to fix, and built to last. Hard to beat that old-school power. Are you still running one, or thinking about switching to the 572XP?
