How is heavy equipment safely transported?

Do the shipping companies or freight forwarders not ship the item or equipment until paid? What will happen if the buyer changes his/her mind once delivered and it needs to be returned? That could be a massive love from the seller's side.

good question! i've always wondered that too . . . how do they handle payments and returns with something that huge?

seems like a risky move if the buyer suddenly backs out after delivery.
 
It’s usually handled by transport companies that specialize in moving heavy equipment. They use lowbed or flatbed trailers and secure everything with heavy chains and straps. Most of the time, they won’t ship until payment is cleared to avoid problems.

It's true tho, ff the buyer changes their mind after delivery, it can be a big hassle. The seller might have to cover return costs or deal with customs again. That’s why most sellers make sure everything’s confirmed before the machine even leaves the yard.

You are right. It is very important to confirm everything before shipping the items, especially the heavy equipment. By the way, when we sell through Boom and Bucket, do they arrange the shipment? I am curious. I think it's safer this way. What do you think, guys?
